Hi! I'm Sahar.

I’m a Computer Science & Web Dev student at NYU. I love curating beautiful & aesthetic websites, games, and designs.

A Little About Me ...

I am an aspiring web and game developer. As a Latin woman, I believe in the power of diverse voices in shaping the digital landscape.

Working as a Design & Event Coordinator for Women in Computing at NYU, I am committed to empowering women and Latinx to chase their dreams in the realm of tech. I have coordinated and led numerous engaging events, bringing together a wonderful community of over 100 students. Collaborating with the esteemed faculty of NYU Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, I've contributed to fostering interdisciplinary connections within our academic community. Notably, I hosted an enriching event featuring a dialogue with Frank Rimalovski, the CEO of Leslie eLab, providing valuable insights and industry perspectives.

As a tutor for NYU Courant’s Introduction to Web Design & Principles course, I extend my passion of web design and development by sharing my knowledge. Guiding students through the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, I aim to spark curiosity and creativity, fostering the next generation of diverse developers.

In my free time, you can find me hardcore gaming (Valorant, Wild Rift, Minecraft, etc), petting my cat, or drawing anything pretty and pink.
